MARION-Lowree “Becky” Willmore, 97, of Marion passed away at 7:45 PM, Friday, July 23, 2010 at Mt. Vernon Health Care.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 26, 2010 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Mike Hood officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to Scottsboro Baptist Church; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959.
Mrs. Willmore was born on November 2, 1912 in Williamson County to Arthur and Maude (Meridith) Meadows. She married Forest Beckham; and he preceded her in death. She later married Kermit Willmore; and he also preceded her in death.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Carol Beckham; grandchildren, Michael Beckham and Gregory and Donna Beckham; great grandchildren, Erica, Sarah, Sam, Hillary and Nicole; great great grandchild, Avery; step-son, Michael Willmore; and several adored nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; and eight brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Willmore was a longtime member of the Scottsboro Baptist Church. She worked as a beauty operator for over 50 years.
