Johnston City- Donald R. Vinson, 64, passed away in the morning of June 2nd, 2012, at his home in Johnston City.
According to the wishes of the family, Mr. Vinson will be cremated, and there will be a private burial in Gibson City, IL at a later date.
Mr. Vinson was born in Paxton, IL on September 27th, 1948, the son of Lester and Betty (Hewson) Vinson. He attended school in Gibson City, IL and was a life long over road truck driver. He was an involved Boy Scout’s Troop Leader, and enjoyed fishing and camping. He attended the Methodist Church in Gibson City.

Daughter- Amanda Vinson of Lebanon MO
One Granddaughter
Three step grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents.
