Ginger Lee Droge, 56, of Marion passed away at 9:17 AM on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at home with her husband by her side.
A memorial service in Ginger’s honor will be held at Blue Funeral Home in Marion on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 7:00 PM with Dale King officiating. A time of gathering for family and friends will precede the memorial on Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Hope Lodge-American Cancer Society. Ginger was born on Thursday, October 27, 1955 in Paris, IL to Hiram & Janice (Shew) Kerrick. She married Michael Droge on July 15, 1978 in Marion; they shared nearly 34 years together, and two children.
Ginger is survived by her faithful husband, Michael; children, Derrick & Jamie Droge of Cantrall, IL and Lori & Laban Roth of Marion; parents, Hiram & Janice Kerrick of Paris; grandchildren, Lane Droge, Savannah Roth and Sawyer Roth; sister, Deanie & Art Griffin and several nieces & nephews.
Ginger was a home maker, showing love, compassion and support to those she most cherished in life. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, bust most importantly, she adored the time she was granted with her loving family.
