Flora Elizabeth Clayton
MARION-Flora Elizabeth Clayton, 45, of Marion passed away at 8:55 PM, Friday, February 20, 2009 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Whiteash Freewill Baptist Church in Whiteash with Reverend Andy Lee and Reverend Paul Langan officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30 PM until the time of the service on Saturday. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Mrs. Clayton was born on December 3, 1963 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Horace Noble and Carla A. (Warnock) Norton. She married David Clayton on August 1, 1994 in Benton, Illinois, he survives.
Survivors include her husband, David Clayton of Marion; children; Christina Clayton and Pierce Clayton all of Marion; mother Carla Norton of Robinson, Illinois; sister Laura Platt of South Carolina; father-in-law and mother-in-law Larry and Frances Clayton of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her father; and brother Horace Noble Norton III.
Mrs. Clayton loved her family, flowers, the outdoors, and she loved to cook. She will missed by all who knew her.
