Marion-Allen Ray Fox, 67, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Herrin Hospital. Allen was born on August 21, 1949 in Carbondale to Robert and Veda Fox.  He married Betty Lou Welford on April 20, 2007.  She survives. Allen served in the U.S. Army.  He worked for the Pepsi Co. Company for 15 years and Cracker Barrel for 9 years. Allen enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include: Wife-Betty Lou Fox of Marion Son-Michael Fox Step daughter-Rebecca Dawn Parker and husband Fred of Mt. Vernon Step son-Jason Rosco Barnett of Johnston City Grandchildren: Riana Barnett Libby Barnett Walker Gascom Zack Blacklock Kristen Blacklock and fiancé David Brazell Five great grandchildren: Elijah, Urijah, Evangelina, Ellyona, Ques He was preceded in death by his parents Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Don Colson officiating.  Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.  Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 10am until the time of service.
