Amy Hurt

Goreville-Amy Hurt, 85, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Herrin Hospital. Amy was born on May 30, 1931 in Truman, AR to Lloyd and Ruby (Bryant) Teague. She married Travis Hurt on July 24, 1958 in Macon, MS. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2004. Amy loved quilting, gardening, painting and cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by all. Survivors include: Daughter-Betty and Patrick Boyle of Palos Park, IL Grandchildren: Mark Reid of Frisco, TX Andy and Katie Reid of Orland Park Bill and Renee Reid of Cedar Lake, IN Great grandchildren: Marissa Reid Hudson Reid Sisters: Rosemary and Vernon Davis of Truman, AR Irene Hare of MS Brother-Jimmy Teague of TN She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Ruby “Sissy” Grisham and son, Jimmie Grisham. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 1pm at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Dr. Ron Ferguson officiating. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.
