Barbara Boles

Marion-Barbara Ann Wade-Boles, 75, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Herrin Hospital. Barbara was born on July 24, 1943 in Williamson County to Levi and Marie Choate. She married Jack Boles in 1996 and he preceded her in death in 2003. Barbara worked as a cook for various nursing homes. She was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time at home with her family. Survivors include: Children: Becky Richard (Alan) of Carterville Richard Wade of Carbondale Randy Wade of Herrin Sandra Harris of Johnston City Danny Wade of Steeleville Penny Dixon 16 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren Five great-great grandchildren 17 brothers and sisters of which several have preceded her in death Numerous nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Ronny Wade and Bobby Wade; infant child. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11am at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
