Pinckneyville-Barbara J. Mathis, 72, passed away at 10am on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Barbara was born on January 8, 1943 in Goreville to Clyne and Martha (Loyl) McNeely.
She worked for Kroger for many years and was also a beautician. Barbara was a member of Eastern Star. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Scott Mathis and brother, Doug McNeely.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11am at Cana Cemetery in Goreville with Rev. Kevin McNeely officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is assisting the family with arrangements.
