Barbara Wolaver

July 8, 1929 — January 22, 2015

Creal Springs- Barbara Dean Wolaver, 85, of Marion, went home with Jesus at 8:50 AM, Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Herrin Hospital. Barbara was born on July 8, 1929, in Detroit, MI to Loyd Ray and Agatha Dean (Graves) Hudgens.  She married Elmer Wayne “Jack” Wolaver on October 5, 1946 in Marion, IL.  She was a homemaker and cared dearly for her family. She was a member of Creal Springs Assembly of God.  Barbara was a loving mother and granny who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.  Her final wish was for her family and friends to remain in church. Survivors include- Son- Eric Wolaver of Creal Springs Son- Earon and wife Mandy Wolaver of Creal Springs Three Grandchildren- Chloe, Calli and Elijah Sister- Patricia “Tootie” Forgash of Clinton Township, MI Sister in law- Rosalie Wolaver of Creal Springs Several nieces, nephews and cousins She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack and sister- Evelyn Trombley. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 26, 2015 at Grange Hall Baptist Church south of Marion.  Rev. Kevin McNeely and Rev. Kenny Blumenstock will officiate.  Burial will follow at County Line Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-8:00 PM, Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.  Memorial donations are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court/ Marion, IL  62959.
