Marion-Betty Jean Dunlap, 83, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Herrin Hospital.
Betty was born on December 22, 1932 in Springfield, MO to Louis and Inez Lay. She married Raymond Allen Dunlap, Sr.
Betty was of Christian faith. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Special friends-Janet McCoy of Marion and Carmen Bass of CO
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Raymond Allen Dunlap, Jr and Joseph Dunlap; brother, Wayne Lay and sister in law, Bertha Lay.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Blue Funeral Home in Marion, with Pastors Brandon Houseworth and Mark Dimock officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville.
