Billy Butler

Marion-Billy Joe Butler, 81, passed away at 9:46pm on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Billy was born on September 17, 1934 in Franklin, IL to Joe and Lee (Phillips) Butler. He married Phyllis Butler and she preceded him in death. Billy was in the US Navy serving on the “Allagash.” He was a member of the Marion Elks and a Cardinals fan. Survivors include: Daughter-Debbie and Greg DeRousse of Herrin Grandchildren-Lance Ridgeway and his fiancé Kelsey Young and their son Isaac Ridgeway Adopted son-Henry Neicamp Nephews-A.J. Farkas and Paul Farkas He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and sister, Virginia Farkas A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 4pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Henry Neicamp officiating. Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 2pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
