Bonnie Mathews

Bonnie Mathews, 62, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Bonnie was born on December 31, 1958 in Champaign to Leon and Patricia (Peters) Gool.  She married George Matthews in 1981 and he survives of Marion.

Bonnie worked as a clerk at Walmart for many years and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Trevor Mattingly; sisters, Jennifer Gool and Pamela Gool.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 1pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Doug Devor officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.
