Camilla Ann Russell

Camilla Ann Russell, age 77, of West Frankfort, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at her home in West Frankfort, Illinois.

Camilla was born April 05, 1944 in Portageville, Missouri, a daughter of Loyd and Addie (Saalwaechter) Phillips. She married the love of her life, David Russell on September 15, 1979 in Coal City, IL. Prior to her retirement in 2006, Camilla had worked as a caregiver in home health care.

She is survived by her spouse David Russell of West Frankfort, IL; two sons, Steven Vaughn and Curly (Jill) Vaughn; siblings- Peggy Willene, Terry Gordon, Virginia Kaye, and Ginger Hankins.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberley Russell; her parents, Loyd and Addie (Saalwaechter) Phillips; and siblings- Chester Leo, Billy Joe, Kathleen June, Leonard Martin, Frederick Alley, Lester Reuben, Barbara Jean, and an infant baby brother.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 31st, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022, 12:00 PM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Keith Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion.
