Elkville- Candace Lee Rorie, age 68, of Elkville, passed away at 5am on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at her home in Elkville.
She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on September 10, 1952, the daughter of Rodger Kyle and Harriett (Lehman) King. She had worked various jobs in her life including waitress, hostess, and most importantly, a homemaker and mother.
Survivors include her daughters- Carla Reeder, Theresa Coate, Valerie Smith, Kellie Coate, and Juanita Rorie; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and her siblings- James Kyle, Lowell Kyle, Charlene Laws, Phillip Kyle, Rodger Kyle, and Michael King.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father- Charles King, who had raised her from a young girl, daughter- Candace Lee Rorie II, sister- Lowella Riddle, brother- Robert Kyle, brother- William Kyle, and brother- Lester Kyle.

She was a living sister plus my best friend we also work at Disney World together. She was a very special person also we love to go yard sales when she was in good health. And she enjoy doing her crafts.

R.I.P. Aunt Candie you was a great aunt since the day I was born I can remember you and grandma drinking coffee and sewing. Also the times we spent together in Clermont Fl. Rolling skating, disney, and you being a truck driver. Now you can spend time with the family in heaven until we see each other again you will always be in my heart. Love you aunt candie
