Caroline Eakins TUNNEL HILL- Caroline Eakins, 61, of Tunnel Hill passed away at 2:20 AM, Friday, September 30, 2005 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 3, 2005 at Fairview Methodist Church in Millersville, Missouri with Reverend Carl Stroder officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 2, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville. Burial will be in the Fairview Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Eakins was born on January 22, 1944 in Commerce, Missouri to Huby and Letha (Fraizer) Malone. She married Norman Eakins on June 8, 1962 in Millersville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2003. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Norman an Ronda Eakins of Kankakee, Illinois; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Michael O`Connor of Kankakee, Illinois; grandchildren, Megan, Colin, Erin, Nicholas; brother, Loy and Donna Malone of Kankakee, Illinois; sister, Georgia and Roger Cote of Kankakee, ; brother, Jim and Connie Malone of Kankakee, Illinois; son, Huby and Carol Malone of Kankakee, Illinois; sister, Lois and Richard Schweikert of Joliet, Illinois; brother, Raymond Carroll of Kankakee, Illinois; brother, Tim and Tina Carroll of Kankakee, Illinois. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, and one daughter, Rhonda Eakins. She loved antiques and at one time had her own shop in Goreville. She was a member of Bethlehem Gospel Mission Church.
