Carolyn Sue Peppers

Carolyn Sue Peppers, age 76, of Thompsonville, Illinois, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Carolyn was born July 12, 1947 in Marion, Illinois, a daughter of Virgil and Sylvia M. (Saddler) Dalton. Carol had worked as a certified nurse's assistant at local nursing homes. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by two children, Darrell (Kandra Gourley) Peppers and Linda (Daniel Wolaver) Peppers; three grandchildren, Justin (Felicha Donnals) Peppers, Dakota (Falisha Hargrave) Peppers, and Dustin Peppers; three siblings, Clifton (Anita) Dalton, Beverly Dunning, and Debbie Curtner; and her Great Grandchildren, Zachary Grimes, Lance Eastwood, Nicole Mays, Kaitlynn Royal, Justin Peppers Jr., Corvaira Peppers, and Autumn Faith Peppers. She is preceded in death by her significant other Clifford Yates; one grandchild, Dalton Gourley; her parents, Virgil I. and Sylvia M. (Saddler) Dalton; two brothers, Thomas W. Dalton and Richard Dalton; and her Infant Brother, Lowell Eugene Dalton.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. The family will hold private celebration of life services at a later date. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
