Carolyn Sue Ingram

Carolyn Sue Ingram, age 75, of Goreville, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 1:34 p.m. in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Carolyn was born on October 3, 1944 in Carterville, the middle child of three siblings, a daughter of Charles and Alma (Chambliss) Gulley.  She married C.B. Vaughn on October 21, 1961 and to this union two daughters, Barbara Kay Fletcher and Tammy Sue Eubank, were born.  She later married Bill C. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Fletcher of Thompsonville and Tammy (Craig) Eubank of Lake City, Kansas; four step children, Beverly Ingram and Bruce Ingram, both of Carterville, Bobby (Sue) Ingram of Desoto and Bryan (Carla) Ingram of Murphysboro; her grandchildren, Jamie Sue (Tyler) Thimesch, Jacob Todd (Kirstin) Bertram, Blane Nicole Bertram, Walter David Bertram, Joshua David Bertram, Curtis David Bertram, Brandy Ingram, Bryan (Emily) Ingram, Jr., Brandon Ingram, Aaron Ingram, Terry Young and Chris Sweet; her great-grandchildren, Scott, Brynn, Olivia, Carter Jacob, Hayes, Barrett Jamynn, Wyatt, Saylor, Preston, Eathan, Ashley, Emmalee, Carter David, Joshlynn and Joeleena; her sister, Charlene Taylor; her sister-in-law, Cheryl Kay Gulley; her two fur babies, Teka and Tilley; her best friends, Carl and Jean Henderson of Goreville; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Ingram; and her brother, Tommy Joe Gulley.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Friendship Cemetery in Goreville on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend R.G. Null officiating.
