I first met Cheryl when I was very young, and from that point onward, she was nothing but kind and attentive to me. I always felt, even into my high school years, that she not only made an effort, but succeeded in meeting me where I was when it came to engaging me in conversation. That's not always an easy thing to bring oneself to do, let alone accomplish. I'll always be thankful for the time I knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family in this difficult time. May they take comfort as I do, in knowing that Cheryl is at peace with the Lord, and that they'll see her again one day.
