Clyde Donelson

Marion-Clyde R. Donelson, 90, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Parkway Manor. Clyde was born on December 21, 1925 in Creal Springs to Everett and Hazel (White) Donelson.  He married Cynthia Bittner and she preceded him in death. Clyde was the owner operator of Donelson Equipment for many years.  He attended Fountain United Methodist Church.  Clyde enjoyed his antique car collection, especially driving in parades and competing in car shows.  He also enjoyed welding and gardening. Survivors include: Daughters-Carol Frey of Marion and Jo Parks and husband Roger of Marion Grandchildren-Stephanie Miller, Dawn Corey and husband Scott, Jeff Parks and Brian Frey Great grandchildren-Kirstie Miller, Megan Miller and Trevor Corey Great-great grandson-Cooper Miller Brother-Carl and Kathy Donelson He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Bob Shook officiating.  Visitation will also be on Monday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
