Daniel Malloy

Creal Springs-Daniel J. Malloy, II, 64, passed away at 11:25am on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at his home.
Dan was born on November 19, 1950 in Chicago to Daniel James and Ruth (Blaney) Malloy. He married Abby Steger Dominik on January 12, 1980 in Palos Park, IL. She survives in Creal Springs.
Dan attended Morgan Park High School in Chicago and attended Daley College. He worked in network provisioning for AT&T and also Allstate Insurance. Upon retirement he worked as a transporter for Hertz and as an usher for the Southern Illinois Miners Baseball team. Dan was a devoted fan of White Sox baseball, the Chicago Bears and University of Michigan football.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Susan and Janice and infant son, James
Dan has donated his remains to Washington University for ALS research. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 12 at 2pm at Rent One Park, Marion, IL. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
