Darlene Chamness

Gibson, MO-Darlene Chamness, 66, formerly of Creal Springs, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Piggott Community Hospital. Darlene was born on August 23, 1949 in Campbell, MO to C.A. ”Buck” and Bernice Johnston (Heathcock) Buchannan.  She married Jackie Chamness in Marion on March 28, 1997.  He survives of Gibson. Darlene was a homemaker, a life long member of the Creal Springs VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors include: Husband-Jackie Chamness Children-Lana Rawley and husband Dan and Niki and husband Jim Ray Grandchildren-Kalub, Kalby, Kasey, Rochelle, Junior, Preston, Rainey, Cody and Brianna Sisters-Diann Dagner and husband Albert, Shirley Hubert and husband Jessie and Peggy Joan Blodsoe Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Monika Schimberg and great granddaughter, Cerenity. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at noon at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Jerry Schell officiating.  Burial will follow at County Line Cemetery.  Visitation will also be on Saturday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
