Delena Sue Chamness

Pittsburg-Delena Sue Chamness, 58, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital. Sue was born on November 5, 1957 in Greenville, OH to James and Mary (Kelly) Simpson. She married Michael Chamness on December 27, 1995 in Ava. Sue enjoyed hunting and fishing. She loved going to church and spending time with her family. Sue is survived by her loving husband, Mike Chamness. Four sons, Daryl (Juanita), Joey (Sherry), Michael (Kasey) and Jeffrey (Betty) Simpson. She is also survived by her brother, Pete Simpson and sister, Brenda Prince. 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her five nieces and nephews and fifteen great nephews and nieces. Sue will be dearly missed and remembered for all the lives she touched. Rest in peace beautiful angel. She was preceded in death by her father; grandson, Darryl Edward James Simpson and nephew, J.B. Gross. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 1pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Ron Clover officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Monday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the family.
