Delilah Jo Betancourt

Delilah Jo (Hopwood) Betancourt, 64, passed away at 6:35am on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at her home surrounded by family, friends and beloved pets.

Delilah was born on October 8, 1956 in Decatur to Hoyt and RoseMary (Hicks) Hopwood.

Marita (Tom) Hartwig of Springfield

Melissa (Rich) Clemens of Marion

Seven nephews; four nieces; several great nieces and nephews

Pets-Miko, Reggie, Bill, Chief, and Mocha

She was preceded in death by her parents and niece, Ashlynn Mahon.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1:30pm at the Round Bluff Nature Preserve Lakeview Picnic Area at Ferne Clyffe State Park.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
