Delores Ann Adams

Delores Ann Adams, age 72 of Oologah, Oklahoma, formerly of Marion, Illinois passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Delores was born November 29, 1950 in Grafton, Illinois, a daughter of Noah and Grace (De Clue) Cain. She married William Douglas Adams on January 17, 1969 in Alton, IL.

She is survived by five children, Susie (Bill) Austin of Rosewood Heights, IL, Cindy Lindhorst of East Alton, IL, William (Christina) Adams of Oologah, OK, Theresa Adams of Zeigler, IL, and Doug (Karla) Adams of Medora, IL; fifteen grandchildren, Samantha Cato, Stacey Roach, Tyler (Aerial) Bryant, Eric Lindhorst (Brittany), Brad (Elizabeth) Lindhorst, Amanda Hamiln, Danielle Moore, Samantha Adams, Simon Adams, Mary Adams, Cheyanne Adams, Michael Adams, Krista (Adam) Jamison, Colton Adams, and Dalton Abrahms; 13 great-grandchildren three siblings, Stanley (Jeanette) Cain of Carrier Mills, IL, Leoma (Vernon) Herrington of St. Louis, MO, and Juanita Edgell of Marion, IL;. She is preceded in death by her husband William Douglas Adams; great grandchild Nichole Grace Adams; her parents, Noah and Grace Cain; and four brothers, Leroy Cain, Eugene Cain, and Russell Cain and James Worsley.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023, 10:00 AM at Herrin City Cemetery with Rev. Keith Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin, Illinois.

Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
