Marion-Donnie Gene Odom, 66, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at his home. Donnie was born on September 4, 1949 in Kutuwa, KY to Eugene and Lucy Ruth (Timmins) Odom. He married Dorothy Stone on October 15, 1997 in Paducah, KY. She survives of Marion Donnie worked at Freedonia Rock Quarry for 37 years. He loved to fish and tinker on motors in the yard. Survivors include: Wife-Dorothy Odom of Marion Children: Donnie Wayne and Markita Odom of Eddyville, KY David and Gale Odom of Eddyville, KY Tony and Brenda Odom Step children: Janie and B.J. Pettigrew of Marion Steve and Pam Harris of Marion Destiny and Ryan Thompson of Goreville Sisters: Mildred Ramsey of Eddyville Wanda Boles of Brookefield, OH Brothers: L.B. Odom of Princeton Gary Odom of Eddyville 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ricky Odom and step son, Jerry Harris Donnie’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial luncheon will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Girl Scout Cabin at Ashley Park in Marion from 11am-1pm. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
