PITTSBURG-Eloise Peebels, 77, of Pittsburg, passed away at 9:15 PM, Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Edward `Shorty` Alsip, Reverend Carl Phelps and Reverend Cecil Parrish officiating. Visitation will be held after 5:00 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant `Poordo` Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Shriner`s Children`s Hospital; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Peebels was born on February 14, 1928 in Williamson County, Illinois to Carl and Mabel (Lollar) Moulton. She married William Peebels on December 21, 1946 at the home of Jake McNalley near Goreville and he survives. Other survivors include her children, William Stacey and Janet Peebels, Rhonda R. and Larry Tanner and Marytom and Michael Baker all of Pittsburg; grandchildren, W. Chad and Farrah Peebels, Wendy S. Peebels, Christopher D. and Angela Tanner, Jason D. and Jenny Tanner, M. Jeremy and Julie Baker and Ashley S. and Justin Cavitt; great grandchildren, W. Harley Peebels, Hailee R. Tanner and Tylanna P. Peebels; and brother and sister-in-law, Carl Dean and Naida Moulton of Carrier Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ray Arlon Moulton. Mrs. Peebels graduated from Crab Orchard High School. She worked as a secretary for Austin Powder Company until she retired in 1982. She attended Angelville Church where she taught a Sunday School class for several years. She enjoyed several hobbies such as, sewing, flower gardening and her close companions, her dogs
