Goreville-Galen Lee Henderson, 42, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Herrin Hospital.
Galen was born on February 2, 1972 in Elgin to Carl and Jean (Stewart) Henderson.
He was a member of the Pentecostals of Southern Illinois. Galen loved old cars, motorcycles and computers. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include:
Parents-Carl and Jean Henderson of Goreville
Sister-Charlyn and Tom Haden of Goreville
Brother-Jeff Henderson of Orlando, FL
Nephew-Tommy Haden of Goreville
Several aunts, uncles and extended family
Galen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lowell and Deloras Henderson; maternal grandparents, Lorene Stewart and Mack Stewart and step grandmother, Mary Stewart.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 2pm at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Rev. Adam Mach and Rev. R.G. Null officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Sunday, from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
