I remember Gene passing out mints at church. He and Linda also sent birthday cards to various church members. My condolences to his wife and family. May he forever rest and be at peace. Such a nice family!

My heart aches for all of you. More, because I cant be there. Gene was more like a brother than a brother in law. I was 21 years old when he came into our family. I have nothing but fond memories of him, and they are many. To the family, I would offer a word of encouragement: be comforted in knowing that he is now in the Presence of Jesus, rejoicing without any restraints. No machines, no walker. Waiting for the rest of us to join him, all in Gods time. My prayers will continue for all of you.
