Henry Roberts

Marion-Henry Eugene Roberts, 73, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Henry was born on June 7, 1945 in Williamson County to Leo and Eva (Richards) Roberts. He married Margaret (Kahlor) Davis on December 12, 1987. Henry loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking his dogs Bonnie and Clyde on rides on his side by side. He liked to farm and take care of his animals and attend to his cattle.  Henry also enjoyed camping, fly fishing and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include: Wife-Margaret Roberts of Marion Children: Dana and Marty Restivo of Freeman Spur Heather Roberts of West Frankfort Michael Tyson Roberts of Johnston City Mother-Eva Roberts of Johnston City Several grandchildren and great grandchildren Brothers: Fred and Beth Roberts of Johnston City Kevin and Karen Roberts of Johnston City He was preceded in death by his father. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 11am at Mt. Pleasant “Shed” Cemetery with Rev. Dick Sullins officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the ASPCA and will be accepted at the funeral home.
