Jackie Dee Estes

MARION- Jackie Dee Estes, 68, of Marion passed away at 4:50 PM, Monday, March 14, 2005 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, March 18, 2005 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. There will be no visitation. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Military rites will be held at the cemetery by VFW Post 1301 and American Legion Post 147. Mr. Estes was born on May 10, 1936 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Chester G. and Jewell M. (Duke) Estes. Survivors include son, William Michael Estes; son and daughter-in-law, Jack, Jr. and Nancy Estes; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Tom Crenshaw; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters; and special companion, Wanda Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Estes was a retired glass installer. He served in the United States Air Force as a firefighter. He was a member of Muddy Baptist Church in Muddy, Illinois.
