James Bratten

Carbondale-James Allen Bratten, 58, passed away at 9:32am on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. James was born on November 13, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to Billy Gene and Marilyn (Blades) Bratten. Survivors include: Mother-Marilyn Blades Bratten-Anderson of Arizona Brothers-Randy Bratten of Arizona and Steve Bratten of Nevada Sister-Janie Bratten-Wadford of Arizona He was preceded in death by his father Billy; brothers, David W. Bratten, Darrin L. Bratten and Daryl G. Hyten; paternal grandparents, Alta and Maud Bratten and maternal grandparents, Solomon C. and Mary E. Blades. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11am at Oddfellows Cemetery in Marion with Rev. Keith Owens officiating.  Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
