James Gulley

Marion-James W. Gulley, Jr., 81, passed away at 3:46pm on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Parkway Manor. James was born on June 15, 1934 in Williamson County to James and Freda (Nolte) Gulley.  He married Kathern Hill in Marion on August 22, 1953.  She survives of Marion. James was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church.  He was a member of the Marion Fellowship Lodge 89 A.F. & A.M. for 50 years.  James retired from the Williamson County Courthouse after many years of service. Survivors include: Wife-Kathern Gulley of Marion Son-James Alan Gulley of Dexter, MO Daughter-Tammy Jo Wolf and husband Jim of Marion Grandchildren: Katie and Jared Roberts Jamie and Sean Mausey Abigail Wolf Matthew Wolf Great granddaughter-Lily Mausey Sister-Aletha Bennett He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Charles Boling officiating.  Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home with Masonic Rites being performed at 7pm by the Marion Fellowship Lodge 89 A.F. & A.M.
