John "Pat" Smothers

Marion-John “Pat” Smothers, 67, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Parkway Manor. Pat was born on June 28, 1948 in Carbondale to John Paul and Eva (Borum) Smothers. Survivors include: Sisters: Paula Risner and husband Tom Dana Hoffman and husband Terry Nieces: Gena Anderson and husband Tim Angi Albright and husband Dustin Nephew-Aaron Hoffman and wife Amber Many cousins and great nieces and nephews His wish was to be cremated.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
