Marion-John Yates, 51, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his home.
John was born on June 23, 1963 in Woodriver, IL to Charles and Stella (Spiller) Yates Sr. He married Dana Brown in Kethcikan, AL. She survives of Marion.
John was a wonderful husband, father and son in law. He was very loved and will be terribly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Keith Yates and Charles Yates
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 6pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Jim Brown officiating.
