Jordan W. Davidson, age 18, of Goreville, Illinois passed away at 6:58 a.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Harrisburg Medical Center.
Jordan was born on May 10, 2002 in Marion, Illinois the son of John W. and Amanda (Bell) Davidson.
Jordan was a Blackcat senior at Goreville High School, the class of 2021. During his high school years, Jordan played baseball, football, wrestled and ran on the cross country and track team. He also had a love for equestrians and rodeos.
Survivors include his loving parents, John W. and Amanda Davidson; brothers, Anthony Davidson and fiancé Teressa Poole, and Nathaniel Davidson; sister, Rebecca Davidson; paternal grandmother, Leslie Deibert; maternal grandparents, Vernon and Linda Bell; maternal great grandmother, Annetta Markham; nieces and nephews, Landon, Addison, and Richard; uncles, Brian, Michael, Steven, Mario, Jim, Bill, Eric and Brent; aunts, Bethany, Deb, Darlene, Arlene, Elizabeth, Susan, Donna, Jenny and Janice; extended family, Justin, Kiara, Helen, Marsha, Jessica, Kim, Shelby, Jennifer and Jordan’s Circle.
Private funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 with Messianic Rabbi Vernon Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Cana Cemetery in Goreville.
Visitation will be held at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, those attending the service are asked to maintain social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask.
A memorial fund will be set up to benefit the families affected by this tragedy, memorial donations will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville or can be mailed to Blue Funeral Home/PO Box 411/Marion, Illinois 62959.
May you find comfort in Gods promise at Revelation 21:3,4. God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things has passed away.

I talked to him before and we were gonna talk, but things didnt go the way planned. He was a really sweet and nice gentleman, but its sad I never got to meet him I wish I would have got to. Im sorry for your guys lost god will be with you to help you through all this. I will keep your family and the others in my prayers.

I didnt really know Jordan all that well but I remember the first day I met him me and his friend and my friend all went to Missouri to boomland and we all had a blast he was such a happy soul and he will be missed by many I remember snap chatting him all the time he was truly a great person its so sad to hear about this all my love and prayers go to his close family and friends
