Junior Sullivan

Goreville-Junior Yvonne Sullivan, 65, of Goreville, passed at 9:35 AM, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at his home.
Junior was born on May 17, 1951 in Johnson County to Louie and Daphene (Webb) Sullivan.
He was a hardworking man who grew up running heavy machinery. His hobby became his work as he later became co-owner/operator of Sullivan Trucking and Backhoe in Goreville for many years with his brother. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local #318.
Junior enjoyed spending time outdoors; camping, fishing, and hunting for raccoons. He also found enjoyment spending time on the farm tending to his livestock. His greatest joy however was the time spent laughing and sharing memories with his friends, family and especially his grandchildren.
He was civically involved for many years as a Member of the Saline Masonic Lodge #339. He attended the Apostolic House of Worship and he will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville. Rev. Robert Schierbaum and Rev. R.G. Null will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00, PM, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville.
