Karen Jones

Karen Jones, 57, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Herrin Hospital.

Karen was born on March 17, 1963 in Marion to William and Madeline (Farner) Cloud.  She married Gregory Jones at First Baptist Church in Marion.  He preceded her in death on June 18, 2019. 

Karen worked as a CNA for Herrin Hospital.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marion and enjoyed attending the widow’s group meetings after the death of her husband.  Karen loved spending time with her family and best friend, Frankie Logsdon and loved her two dogs, especially Zeus.

Survivors include her mother in law, Geniene Jones; best friend, Frankie Logsdon; sisters, Debbie (Chris) Fleming and Jan Cloud; brother, Rick (Maria) Cloud; nephews, Travis Fleming and Ryan Korzenaskie and her dogs, Zeus and Skimit.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and father in law, Kenny Jones.

Her wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
