Lana Faye Emery

Lana Faye Emery, 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Herrin Hospital.

Lana was born on October 23, 1949 in Harrisburg to Kenneth and Faye Marie (Hester) Thomas. Lana worked as a caregiver with the elderly. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle and loved the Lord and showing his love to people in need.

Survivors include her daughter, Kelli (John) Craig of Arnold, MO; step-daughter, Jeanie Deaton; grandson, Brandon Trammel of Nashville, TN; granddaughter, Jinny Crites; great grandson, Zach Crites; husband, Bobby Emery; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Borum; grandson, Paul Deaton; brothers, Jack Thomas, Wayne Thomas, Charles Lee Thomas; sister, Betty Louise Thomas.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. John Burnett and Rev. Linda Burnett officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 12pm until the time of service at the funeral home.

Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, those attending the service are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask.
