MARION-Lance Michael Herzog, 25, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 17, 2004 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Jeff Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at the funeral home. Lance was born on July 24, 1978 in Herrin to Rosemary Johnson. HE married Casey Haught on September 15, 2001 in Marion and she survives. He is survived by his wife; daughters, Julia and Nicole Herzog; mother, Rosemary and Mike Johnson of Marion; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Jamie Haught of Marion; mother-in-law, Sheila Haught of Marion; maternal grandparents, Frank and Virginia Mezo of Herrin; grandparents, James Haught, Sr. and Evelyn Vaughn; brothers-in-law, Lee Haught of Marion, Jerry Burnett of Marion and Justin Burnett of Marion; best friend, James Lewis, and several aunts and uncles.
