Laura J. Ford

Cave In Rock- Laura J. Ford, 48, of Cave In Rock, died at 4:00 AM, Friday, February 1, 2017 at her home.   Laura was born on February 18, 1968 in Elcho, WI to Lawrence and Cathy (Meyers) Ford.  She was retired.  She formerly worked as a waitress for various restaurants, but more recently she began a new career as a chicken farmer.   She was of catholic faith.  She enjoyed farming and caring for her chickens and shopping for farming supplies, but her greatest joy was spoiling her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed.   Survivors include-   Son- Michael Ford and wife Rebecca of Lick Creek Daughter- Vanessa Torres of Jacksonville, FL Three grandchildren Brother- Lawrence Ford of Indiana Sister- Shellie Ford of Illinois Sister- Georgene Ford of New York   She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.   A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.  Rev.
