Linda Stelle, age 71, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 5:15 p.m. in her home.
Linda was born on February 16, 1949 in Anna, a daughter to Henry Clayburn and Clara May (Ham) Bush. She first married William Clark in Union County and to this union three children were born. She later married John Stelle in Benton and he survives in Ohio. Linda was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Benton. She loved traveling, being outdoors and raising her dogs and cats. She loved family get togethers and spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include three daughters, Christina Williams (John Manis) of Marion, Anna (James) Carter of West Frankfort, and Sheila Carter of Benton; one step-daughter, Danielle Jean (Brian) Bailey of Evansville, IN; one step-son, Steven (Traci) Stelle of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Bush of Hurst and Charles (Cheryl) Bush of Marion; one sister, Betty Edwards of Carterville; a dear friend, Lisa Capobianco of Marion; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Bush; and a step-daughter, Susan Morgan.
Visitation will be held at Blue Funeral Home on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Funeral services will be held at Blue Funeral Home on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Steve Flach officiating. As per her wishes, Linda will be cremated after the funeral services are held. Inurnment will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, those attending the funeral service and visitation are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and the wearing of masks is encouraged.
Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church of Benton and will be accepted at the funeral home.
