Lloyd Sullins, Jr.

Marion – Lloyd L. Sullins, Jr., 79, passed away on Monday, February 04, 2019 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Lloyd was born on December 23, 1939 in Marion to Lloyd and Ruth Ann (Roberts) Sullins, Sr. He married Nancy Doty on June 13, 1959 in Cedar Grove “Dog Walk” and together they shared over 57 years of marriage. Lloyd worked for the State of Illinois for many years. He enjoyed genealogy and loved the outdoors. Survivors include: Son – Gene Sullins and wife Shannon of Marion Daughter – Tammy Sullins of Marion Grandchildren: Lawrence Baker Shane Baker Bryanna and Yeysen Bahena Joseph Sullins Andriea and Myles Raines Brandon Sullins Michael Sullins Elizabeth Sullins Blake Sullins Former Daughter in law-Mylinda and Jeremy Gates Brothers and sisters: John Ralph Richard Harvey James Donna Debbie Peggy Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and son, Christopher Sullins Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 12pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Harvey Sullins officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
