Loretta Hicks

Marion-Loretta Irene Hicks, 99, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Angel Acres.

Loretta was born on December 24, 1920 in Williamson County to Sylvester and Bessie (Shelton) Furlow.  She married Claude Bramlet and he died in 1944 in World War II.  Loretta then married Lorimer Hicks and he preceded her in death in 2003.

Loretta was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Norma Lee Endsley; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and her sisters, Genny Spiller and Wilma Loolar.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, David Wayne Bramlet; grandsons, Chris Bramlet, Kevin Phelps and Jaime Phelps and her five brothers.

Loretta’s wishes were to be cremated.  No services will be held.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
