Lorraine Sue Phillips LAKE OF EGYPT-Lorraine Sue Phillips, 56, of the Lake of Egypt, passed away at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Tom Stearns officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the funeral home. Mrs. Phillips was born on March 2, 1949 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to John and Juanita (Harland) Rossi. She married Jim Phillips on April 11, 1969 in Acton, England. Survivors include her husband, Jim of the Lake of Egypt; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Brad Mook of Meadville, Pennsylvania; son, Greg Phillips of the Lake of Egypt; grandchildren, Ellen, Andrew and Julia Mook; his mother and step-father, Juanita and Bob Cooper of the Lake of Egypt; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Sue Rossi of the Lake of Egypt, John, Jr. and Linda Rossi of Burr Ridge, Fred and Katie Rossi of Chicago, and Bob, Jr. and Mela Cooper of Park Forrest; and sisters and brother-in-law, Jean Doss of South Chicago Heights and Jayne and Don Collins of Marion. She was preceded in death by her father and one nephew, Randy Rossi. Mrs. Phillips worked as an LPN. She loved to sew, work in her garden and cook.
