Loudine Newton

Goreville- Loudine Newton, 70, of Goreville, passed away at 5:03 AM, Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Helia Healthcare of Energy. Loudine was born on November 18, 1947 in Marion to James Audie and Lacine (Varner) McGuire. She married Rick J. Newton on July 20, 1972 in Harrisburg.  He survives of Goreville. She was retired having worked several years as a CNA at Union County Nursing Home in Anna.   She was a skilled caregiver who also helped care for several of her loved ones. In her spare time she enjoyed working outside and sewing. She sewed several western shirts for her husband.  She will be dearly missed. Survivors include- Husband- Rick Newton of Goreville Brother- Roy McGuire and Phyllis of Goreville 2 sisters in laws- Shannon Byrd and Debbie Newton of Goreville Many close friends including Angie Lindsey of Goreville Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister- James “Rusty” McGuire and Jane Gothard. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville. Rev. RG Null will officiate.  Burial will follow at Busby Cemetery in Goreville.  Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville.
