Mabel Huckleberry

GOREVILLE-Mabel Huckleberry, 91, of Goreville passed away at 7:50 PM, Monday, February 28, 2005 at Friendship Care Center in Herrin. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Reverend Tim Woodard officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cana Cemetery in Goreville. Mrs. Huckleberry was born on August 26, 1913 in Goreville, Illinois to Thomas and Letha (Humphrey) Ross. She married Ishamel Huckleberry, he preceded her in death in 1958. Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Mrs. Huckleberry was a homemaker and a retired beautician, she owned and operated a beauty shop in Marion for several years. She was of the Methodist faith.
