Marion Burnett MARION-Marion Burnett, 53, of Marion passed away at 3:10 PM, Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Fountains Nursing Home in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday December 12, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend John Burnett officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Monday December 12, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mounds National Cemetery in Mounds. Mr. Burnett was born on November 24, 1952 in Marion, Illinois to Emery M. and Helen (Doss) Burnett. Survivors include his mother; two sons; one daughter; two grandsons; one granddaughter; three brothers; seven sisters. He is preceded in death by his father; three brothers and two sisters. He served his country in the United States Army and served in Panama.
