Marsha Holmes

Marion-Marsha Holmes, 70, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Marsha was born on April 5, 1948 in Williamson County to Lloyd and Alma (Cardwell) McKinney.  She married Bill Holmes in Williamson County on October 7, 1966. Marsha was a longtime secretary for Roberts Insurance in Marion.  She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed doing church work.  Marsha also enjoyed crocheting and shopping with her daughter.  She was a strong Christian lady and her family was very important to her, especially her granddaughter, Abby. Survivors include: Husband-William Holmes of Marion Daughter-Angie and Jeff Rushing of Marion Granddaughter-Abby Rushing of Marion Sister-Marilyn and Larry Throgmorton of Marion Mother-Alma McKinney She was preceded in death by her father and two infant sisters. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 1:30pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Dickerson officiating.  Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home.
