Marvin Davis

Goreville-Marvin E. Davis, 90, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the VA Medical Center. Marvin was born on February 23, 1928 in Mt. Vernon to Lloyd Earl and Nellie (Thereon) Davis. He married Pat Davis on June 18, 1949.  She preceded him in death on February 11, 2015. Marvin enjoyed camping and motorcycle riding. Survivors include: Children: Marla and Gerald Peacock of Morgontown, WV Jeri and Kenny Schwyhart of Hazelwood, MO Marty and Cindy Davis of Goreville Several grandchildren and great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, daughter, Rhonda Carnes and son, Allan Davis. Marvin’s wishes were to be cremated. No services will be held.  Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is assisting the family with arrangements.
