Mary Alice Fick

Marion- Mary Alice Fick, 69, of Marion, passed away at 6:05 PM, Friday, September 4, 2015 at Herrin Hospital. She was born on April 5, 1946 in Fullerton, CA to Erna and Dorothy (Kerchoff) Ford.  She married Stuart Fick on September 5, 1972 in Toluca, IL.  He survives of Marion. Dorothy was retired, but worked many jobs along the way.  She was a waitress, factory worker, seamstress and receptionist for many years at many different jobs and locations throughout the United States. She enjoyed quilting and fishing whenever she had the opportunity. Survivors include- Husband- Stuart Fick, of Marion Son- Charles Lee Burns and wife Dee Dee of Kansas Daughter- Belinda Robin Nadeau of West Frankfort Daughter- Pamela Lyn Knuffman and husband Danny of Quincy Son- Stuart Lee Burns and wife Katie of Marion Thirteen Grandchildren Numerous Great Grandchildren Sister- Mildred Thario of Cambden, AR Sister- Martha Quinn and husband James of Harrisburg, AR Numerous nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents and son- Michael Sean Fick.  As per her wishes, she will be cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.  Memorial arrangements were made at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.  For more information or to sign the memorial guest register, please visit www.bluefuneralhome.com.
